Hello Susan, nice pic!
Do you know what the symbology of the pelican is? I wonder if it resonates with the waning moon in the picture (northern hemisphere) or a new moon (as it would be if this photo was taken in the southern hemisphere)?

Aloha Anita,
The pelican is the symbol of generosity, love and caring. I think of it as the symbol of the Christ consciousness that lives within the heart of everyone.

I love pelicans. They look so cool when they are flying. I have never seen a photo of one against the moon. Neat-o!

Great Pic,
during the solstice i saw a white egret in northern Indiana. It was the first time i really celebrated the earth standing still and took time to notice,
