Images of my beautiful yard, imagine sitting here, meditating while feeling the love, magic and aloha.

Signs of alignment

The main objective of the Toltec tradition is to change our point of creation from our mind to our spirit. When I first began this journey I had a hard time discerning whether my inner guidance was coming from my mind or my spirit. Through trial and error, practice, discipline and dedication over the years it has become much easier.

house addition 059 I am in the process of building an addition to my home. The top floor is going to be my meditation room. I have had some doubts about the need for a third story when two would suffice but I have followed that inner knowing and insisted on the third floor.

Yesterday I came home after several days away. The builder had put the floor on the third story while I was gone so as soon as I got home I climbed up to see the view. I was only there a few minutes when a beautiful rainbow began to appear, slowly at first and then it expanded into a full arch. I took it as a sign from my spirit of well done.

A complete arch

I could have noticed or not, saw it as a sign or not and I could have ignored my desire to document the process and take pictures every day (a miracle for me). What really matters is how I feel energetically, expanded and connected to my spirit or contracted, fear based and disconnected.

And if you notice the sky, the sun is shinning and there was no rain anywhere, unusual conditions for a rainbow!

Wordless Wednesday: finding peace during construction

I am adding an addition to my home. Having workmen around each day is a very different experience. I am used to my quiet, peaceful home. On the top floor of this addition there will be a meditation room. There is sense of peace each day as I go out and see what has been created that day.

Hopefully I will be able to see the ocean and Mauna Kea from there. Right now here is my view. I also ordered an awesome angel in the moon weather vane for the top.

Spring Equinox Ceremony

I got up early and went to my hale by my pond and did a wonderful Spring Equinox Ceremony. I recorded it and took a video but it was my first attempt with my Iphone and it id didn’t work very well. Here is the audio and some still shots of the pond from my sacred hale.

Soon the lotus and water lilies will be in bloom and the butterfly Koi will be lazily swimming along.

Enjoy!

The Divine Inner Child

Aloha everyone,

When I first moved to Hawaii I held classes on healing the inner child. Interestingly enough 20 years later I was asked to speak at a The Center for Spiritual Living in Waikoloa on the month that the theme is the divine child. So I decided to speak about the divine inner child. Funny how things come full circle.

Whenever I am asked to speak I begin to meditate on the topic and I am often pleasantly surprised by what comes up. I may try to record the talk and post an MP3 on my web site.

I know most of my readers live all over the world, but for you lucky few that do live in Hawaii I invite you to join me on December 6th, at 9:30 AM. The service begins with a meditation. The Center for Spiritual Living meets at the Waikoloa Elementary School Library (at the end of Paniolo Avenue in Waikoloa Village). Meditation begins at 9:30 a.m. Regular services begin at 10:00 a.m.
