Aloha everyone,
One of my students sent me this video. It is pretty amazing what a person can do with intent!

Aloha everyone,
For so many people one of their greatest fear is death. I remember as a little girl my grandmother made me kiss my grandfather good bye. He was cold and clammy and there was obviously no life in his body. I had nightmares for years. Sitting by my dad this week was a very different story. I was no longer afraid of death, my story had changed.
What are you afraid of? What story do you tell yourself that creates the fear? Are you willing to change your story yet? Perhaps ask yourself how you can see the situation through the eyes of love instead and see what happens.
Next week I will talk about my favorite and most powerful way to deal with fear. See you then!
With love and aloha,
Susan

Aloha everyone,
My dad died Tuesday. At times he was a difficult man. I used to have a story about my childhood that was filled with abuse and violence. Then I began my spiritual journey. I worked the twelve steps of a 12 step program and I used the tools of awareness, transformation and intent as I moved beyond forgiveness and into gratitude, wonder and awe. Life is an amazing journey in which we get to see our filter system and if we choose to pursue personal freedom let it all go and step into love.
Life is and then we tell ourselves a story. As I sat at my dad’s bedside watching him slowly transition I had many insights. Perhaps the most profound was the fact that all he ever wanted was to be loved.
What a gift it was to be able to see my dad as he truly was rather than how I had learned to think he was. He wasn’t a cruel man but rather a gentle loving soul struggling to live in this crazy world. He never had the gift of realizing life is an illusion and that all we ever experienced is our filter system until the very end.
I am so grateful I can now see my dad’s love and his gentle spirit and totally release all my stories about anger and abuse. Perhaps next time I want to react it will be far easier to respond from love instead. Life is too precious a gift to hold onto stories about the past that only hurt us. It really is never too late to have a happy childhood.
My childhood sent me in search of freedom and the ability to love and it taught me to find true happiness instead of settling for the illusion. That is an incredibly precious gift and I thank you dad for helping me find it!
With love, gratitude, happiness, joy and sadness,
Susan

Aloha from Page Springs, AZ,
I am getting ready to conjure up a magical experience for a bunch of people in the form of a week long retreat. We are going to spend time in a a canyon, hike around the Sedona area, meditate, eat great food and shift energetically. I have set aside a week and traveled a long way with the intent of creating a shift in consciousness.
So, what does that have to do with you? How can that improve the quality of your life? You could set aside a bit of time to do the same thing for yourself. Take a retreat day or at least part of a day or even better set aside a whole weekend just for you. How much time to you actually spend on focusing on what you do want to create in your life?
Do you wait until life catches your attention before you spend time retraining your thinking or do you have a regular routine that works for you? are you willing to take some time this weekend and tune in to the awesome adventure called limitless living?
As a species we seem so resistant to step out of the box created by our filter system. Give yourself that gift. Sunday I will be doing lots of wonderful energy work with the group. Go out and look up at the moon and allow yourself to tune in, allow all your fears to be washed away and allow love to take its place.
I just love serendipity. To me it is an indication that I am in the flow. As I was writing this post my editor for my angel blog on Beliefnet Sherry sent me a URL where you can make these word clouds. I played around a bit and I love it. Here is a word cloud for you about fearless, limitless living. Definitely post it material!
With a great deal of love, gratitude and aloha,
Susan
